2008 Spring Festival of Arco Acute

Certosa Island - May 18 2008

As it rained! However we were fifty (the dog and Tea) in the 'Certosa Island - Venice Lagoon, Sunday, May 18, to share food and fun. First of all happy to have arrived, some not so obvious was happy to find "old" and "new" members ... with four new entries. Subscriptions wet and, therefore, fortunate. To be fair, it should be noted that the Commander Raccanelli had said and written, during the previous week, the weather promised water, plenty of water.

However, after lunch "packed" and the endless ciacoe, prof. Manzini mesmerized us with its mythical, brilliant bingo, helped by three charming "valleys" (see photo). The awards, as has become traditional, was secured as a "contribution to the cause" by leading glassmakers of Murano. I remember one of the jokes here and "puns" shoot from the conductor as a side dish to bingo, the most "British": the first letter S. Paul the Apostle to dentists: "Dear .... and just .

The conclusions and final farewell to President Minelli , who made an appointment to all the night before the third Sunday of July, the night of the festival very famous Redeemer. The Association-year is the 18th - will organize again in the gardens of the Old Maids, the Giudecca. (For the non-Venetian, opposite the San Marco basin) We will be a lot last year and this year we were 400 ...?

Soon you will find news on the Feast of the Redeemer

Christmas Concert

wish dedicate this first post to the Marmolada Choir of Venice, which for several years chose to donate to the Christmas Concert "Meninos Project." And 'this the symbol that brings together all the associations that cooperate in various ways to provide support and continuity to the work at CEPE Father Giorgio Callegari, Brazil. In 2007, the initiative was repeated in the splendid setting of the School of S. Giovanni Evangelista, Venice, thick with audience participation and generous contribution to its social goals .
